Pay per click affiliate marketing techniques that are proven
effective can help you to generate greater revenue as an
affiliate of a pay per click advertising program.
Google AdWords and Yahoo! Search Marketing are, at present, the
major pay-per-click advertising programs that are used for the
purpose of pay-per-click advertising.
It is expected that in the near future Microsoft's MSN search
engine may be offering its own pay per click affiliate
advertising program, but that is yet to be seen.
Pay per click affiliate opportunities sound appealing to many
internet entrepreneurs because of the popularity of pay-per-click
advertising programs and the nature of internet business for
which there are literally numerous new websites being launched
daily.
There is a lot of demand for information about pay-per-click
advertising, so there is quite a bit of earnings potential for
businesses that provide information and referrals as a pay per
click affiliate marketer.
At present, Google doesn't have an affiliate program per se, for
its pay-per-click advertising program.
What it does have is AdSense which provides great opportunities
for information marketers who have content sites on which Google
ads can be displayed.
Through the AdSense program, website operators can generate a
significant amount of review from pay-per-click ads that are
placed on their websites based on the relativity of their content
to keyword phrases associated with the ads.
Google also has an AdWords referral program through which you can
earn $20 for each advertiser you refer to the AdWords program.
Yahoo! Search Marketing has an affiliate program for their Yahoo!
Sponsored Search program.
The affiliate program has two levels, one where you earn
commission for new customer referrals and one where you actually
become certified to provide training in regard to the benefits of
Yahoo! Sponsored Search.
As a certified affiliate of the program, you can provide your
customers with value-added services as well as earning
commissions on your referrals. It is not yet known whether or not
MSN will have an affiliate program for their pay-per-click
services if they do in fact come to fruition.
Many affiliate programs are structured where you receive
commissions on sales that result from your referrals.
Others have a flat payout that you receive for the initial
referral while others pay per lead that you generate whether or
not that lead results in a sale.
Generally, the commission structure for an affiliate program is
preferred over a flat fee structure because a commission
structure sometimes results in ongoing revenue generation from
future sales; however, with products that are a one-time sale,
that's usually not the case.
So, a one-time payout structure can be just as effective for
affiliate marketers as the commission structures - especially
when it comes to pay per click affiliate marketing, because there
is always a great demand for information about pay per click
advertising.
The most effective marketing technique I have to offer a per per
click affiliate is the suggestion that you constantly build the
prospect base to which you market your affiliate program
generating new leads as new website operators enter the market
and begin to seek information about pay-per-click advertising.
This can be accomplished through search engine marketing, the
publication of information products such as ebooks, industry-
related newsletters, or professional articles, or through email
marketing once you have built an opt-in list of parties that are
interested in receiving information about internet marketing.
An aggressive internet marketing campaign that is targeted to new
internet entrepreneurs and new website operators is the best way
to capture the attention of interested parties for the purpose of
referring them to pay-per-click advertising programs.
By properly targeting your market, you will definitely increase
your affiliate revenues regardless of the structure of the
affiliate program.
